What is the difference between HPI, HDS, and MVPI?

The HPI measures normal personality as it appears to others (bright side). The HDS measures risk factors that emerge under stress (dark side). The MVPI measures core values and motivators. Together they give a full picture of a person's professional personality.

Do we need to be Hogan certified to use these assessments?

Yes — Hogan requires that assessments be interpreted by certified practitioners. PPI offers certification workshops to qualify your team, or we can provide expert interpretation services on your behalf.

How long do the assessments take?

The HPI takes approximately 15–20 minutes, the HDS about 20–30 minutes, and the MVPI around 15–20 minutes. They are administered online and can be completed on any device.
